Feature Movie Reviews
and movie news columns

by E. J. Campfield
Film Critic & Entertainment Editor

During 1979-1981, I was the film critic for Studio A, a local arts & entertainment program, produced and hosted by Marcia Cohen, and aired on WSRE-TV 23, PBS affiliate in Pensacola, Florida. At the same time, I was entertainment editor and film critic for The Voyager weekly campus newspaper at The University of West Florida, where I was a graduate student in communication arts with concentration in film and mass media.

My movie review column The Take-Up Reel and my motion picture news column Short Takes alternated as regular features in The Voyager. Scripts for my film critic segments on Studio A were re-edits of my Take-Up Reel movie reviews.
